Specifics about portraits: In order to capture the magical creature I use many different mediums to get the personality just right! Although the majority of the painting is done with acrylic paint, I also use chalk, ink, gesso, and anything else I can get my hands on to make the picture look as realistic as possible! The process typically takes around two weeks, and the portraits are painted on quality canvas - the size that usually works best is 12 inches x 16 inches. The edges are painted the same color as the background so your painting is ready to hang when you get it! The typical price for a painting is $500, and that also depends on the size of the painting and the number of animals being painted (if more than one dog/animal the price will increase).
